Start with the core question: Which parts of the business model fail first under a plausible stressor?
A Business Model Stress Test checks how well a business model holds up under pressure and headwinds. It compares strengths, risks, market logic, and courses of action. The result is captured as a stress-test report and action plan per scenario.
First the model is set up as a canvas or comparable structure. The team then applies targeted scenarios or shocks against it and observes which building blocks tip over. Finally, weaknesses are translated into concrete adjustments or protective measures.
