methodatlas is intended to operate at methodatlas.meierhoff-systems.de on Meierhoff Systems infrastructure. Hosting may process personal data, especially technical access data and IP addresses.

The server infrastructure is operated through IONOS. IONOS may come into contact with access data as a technical service provider for hosting, network operation, security, and maintenance. The basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and, where applicable, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Local storage and app state

This website uses local browser storage so features such as favorites, comparison selection, and color scheme persist across page views. This data is stored under keys such as methodatlas:favorites, methodatlas:compare, and methodatlas-theme. It remains on your device and is not actively transmitted to the server.

Storage is required for the provided convenience features. You can delete this data at any time through your browser settings.

Rybbit is used for reach measurement. Rybbit is a cookie-less web analytics solution that does not require cookies or browser local storage for tracking. The script is loaded through stats.meierhoff-systems.de/api/script.js and configured with site ID 7caa7eb3b927.

Processed data includes page views, referrers, visited URLs, usage times, device and browser information, and technical events where configured for website operation and improvement. Local favorites, comparison selections, and theme preferences are not transmitted to Rybbit.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in understanding usage, reach, and technical quality of the website and improving methodatlas in content and technology. Rybbit is operated as a dedicated instance on Meierhoff Systems infrastructure.

6. Recipients and transfer to third countries

Recipients of personal data may include technical service providers used for hosting, operation, maintenance, security, or error analysis. A transfer to third countries by methodatlas is not intended. For external links, the respective third-party provider decides on further processing.

7. Storage duration

Server log data is stored only as long as required for operation, security, error analysis, and abuse prevention. Local browser data remains on your device until you delete it or the respective browser function removes it.

8. Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing (Art. 21).
