Recommendation and Playbooks

Recommendation and Playbooks help when the right path is still open or one method is not enough. Recommendation works rule-based and traceable, Playbooks bundle proven sequences.

01

When to use recommendation instead of catalog

Use recommendation when you can describe a situation but do not yet have a concrete method in mind.

  • Free text works for goal, problem, working question, or context.
  • Phase, format, time, team size, and complexity keep the selection practical.
  • Recommendation is a starting point for review, comparison, and execution.
02

Understand recommendation results

The result list connects ranking, explanation, and next step. There is no black box: the scoring rules are openly documented.

  • Higher results fit goal, context, and constraints better.
  • Explanations show which inputs influenced the result.
  • Open profile, Runsheet, or compare when a result looks plausible.

Tip: If the results do not fit, change the free text first. It often has more influence than individual selection fields.

03

Use Playbooks

Playbooks bundle several methods into a flow for typical work situations.

  • Use Playbooks for larger paths such as discovery, prioritization, or alignment.
  • Read Playbooks as a sequence, not as a single method.
  • Move from a Playbook into a method when a step needs concrete preparation.
