When to use recommendation instead of catalog
Use recommendation when you can describe a situation but do not yet have a concrete method in mind.
- Free text works for goal, problem, working question, or context.
- Phase, format, time, team size, and complexity keep the selection practical.
- Recommendation is a starting point for review, comparison, and execution.

Understand recommendation results
The result list connects ranking, explanation, and next step. There is no black box: the scoring rules are openly documented.
- Higher results fit goal, context, and constraints better.
- Explanations show which inputs influenced the result.
- Open profile, Runsheet, or compare when a result looks plausible.
Tip: If the results do not fit, change the free text first. It often has more influence than individual selection fields.

Use Playbooks
Playbooks bundle several methods into a flow for typical work situations.
- Use Playbooks for larger paths such as discovery, prioritization, or alignment.
- Read Playbooks as a sequence, not as a single method.
- Move from a Playbook into a method when a step needs concrete preparation.
